I'm using a memorex burner..and memorex dvd+r media, for a 400 mb ISO.

Heres my log..(sorry for the length)


I think it might be a problem with my burner..I'm going to get some verbs, and a 111d, I'm just wondering why this isn't working..It has been annoying me.

Does anybody think I should try some verbs, with this burner? Or do you think its the burner that is the problem? I already have a 15 pack of verbs, but it will be a while before I get the new burner.

Why dont you simply try with one Verbatim disc, and if its not working wait for the new drive ?

I had imgburn throwing me errors alot on my old HP burner, so i switched to the one in my laptop (a NEC) and now I get no errors at all. I have always been using Verbatim as it seems to be the most reliable brand.

Yeah, I was just wondering if anybody knew what the error meant. Somebody told me ..it has to do with having more then one burning tool installed at once..like..having Nero + clonecd +imgburn all installed at once.

Is this possible?

The first error is due to your hdd not being able to keep the buffers full. Using the source HDD to do something else rather time consuming/OS drive? 2nd error would be from the burner not being able to write to the disc.

Couple of things you can try...

1. Check the firmware is current
2. Switch to better media. Verbatim would be the better choice from what out right now

ok, so...I switched to Verbatim DL media...

I burned the disk..it went all the way through..to 100 percent..

then the disk drive opened..then closed again...and it attempted to verify it..and I get this..

ps. the game disk isn't recognized when I put it into my 360.


and...Before it started burning I got an error dealing with this:

So what happened? Can you play the game?. You said you were burning 400 mb game on the DVD+R DL. Correct?. If that is the iso of Xbox one, you need to set Data Zone Capacity to 1913776 not 1913760.  This is if you have Hitachi drive on your xbox 360. If you have samsung drive on your xbox 360, you can use just Single layer dvd+r disc.  All cheap Ritek, memorex, verbatim works on my hitachi drive. I am using Sony Dru 800a with original firmware. No problem what so ever.

P.S inorder to play Xbox games your game must be in supported list and need to update data ( emulator)to you xbox 360 Hdd. Hope this help.

Now I'm trying to burn a 360 game using imgburn. I set it to 1913760, popped in the dual layer Verbatim, hit burn...the entire thing went perfect...until it was finalising the disk...

This was the error I got in the log.
