I JUST HAVE TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO MAXIMUS!!!

I have a couple questions though. I have a laptop and im about to head to frys for a sata to usb or a sata card what ever they have in stock. What am im looking for when it comes to picking a sata card for my laptop? and certain things to look for on the box?

second question. I was reading that you need to ground the xbox to the pc? How would i do this? I plan on just connecting a sata cord from the drive to my laptop sata card and using the xbox to power the drive? i dont understand what needs grounding? any help Thanks!

Also features a new RAW memdump wich is not fooled by the stealth method on currently hacked drives.

So i've read the whole and I still have one question
Does this mean that the current Hitachi 'stealth' firmware is not as stealth as it claims to be?

So if I was to use a laptop, one end of the crop clip would be clipped to the 360 case while the other is clipped to my Desktop PC?

I don't think the common ground thing is a real problem if they are plugged in to the same power strip.

However you could always remove that cover that hides your memory modules and attach a crock clip on the metal on the bottom of the shell of the laptop.

ETA: I'm not talking out of my ass either, I've done several 360's without the ground wire connected to each chasis.

So what your saying is if i have the power cable connected to the same outlet or (same surge protector) then i should be fine? Also whats the worse that can happen if its not grounded (not being able to pull the data or a bricked drive?)

Also what kind of sata card do i pick??

Not the same wall outlet, the same grounded surge protector, I should have made that more clear. A powerstrip is just that, it has no surge protection.

What is the worst that could happen? Well nothing is going to happen unless you lost power or your house was hit by lightning. In any event it wouldn't matter that the two units weren't properly grounded, you would just be SOL.

I have dumped the firmware 4 times and they are all different keys sad.gif

When I do it it says

Do you want to perform a checksum  validation to check if the dump is fine

yes

the data dump does not match its own checksum ( you can try dumping again)

do you want to accept this dump anyway?

yes

why it it doing this is it becauce I have a Silicon  chip?

Also when I want to dump the firmware it asks for a games or movie is this normal?
