Disc Unreadable After Ms28 Flash

I flashed my ms28 using a VIA card and it went fine (I think) with the 42b firmware but it won't read my backups for some reason. Burner = TSST Corp TS-L532 on my laptop.. in DVDInfoPro it says it doesn't support bitsetting when I click on the +RW so I was unable to check if booktype was set right and fix it. I tried both Memorex dvd+r dl and Sony+r dl no luck..(wrote them all at 1x). What could be wrong here?
