yeah you are waaaay too confused or just not reading the damn tutorials  

you have to use the enable iso disk to unlock the dvd firmguard...

so to REFLASH IT  which you do not need to do... you would need to use this disk to unlock it to allow reading a writing of FIRMWARE,...

BUT you are ONLY needing to DUMP games..    so with 4.2 the firmware has this option built in you can say...BUT you NEED to get windows to recognize the drive.. to do this you MUST again use the enable.iso to unlock the drive you can say... then take it out and boot to windows.

From there once the drive is recognized in windows you will have to keep reading the tutorials on how to backup games from there.

my dvd drive has a new problem that I have been tryin to tell you guys...

it does NOT get power for like a min then it does.... and when it is in the 360 I get error 65.....

but if I boot the 360 with the video cable unpluged for a few mins to let the dvd drive get power... whn I plug the video cord back into the 360 it reboots and loads up just fine.... then I try the enable disk "the 0800 dual layer disk" it tries to read it then says open tray, so I turn on my computer and still nothin.....


why does it NOT get POWER? is this a sign of bricked? it just one day when I was messing with it, stopped gettin power at first?


does anyone have an answer?
