hello im new 2 this forum so bare with me please i just need a little help would be very appreciated i done 1 xbox 360 for my m8 with the toshiba samsung drive and my misses has brought our lad 1 for christmas but just want 2 play backup games on it he wont go on live ive done lots of reading for a good week there is people saying they can be done and people saying they carnt i just want some one 2 tell me if they have done 1 and its worked ok and put me onto a good tut for it and the right software 2 do it or maybe guide me through it step by step if not 2 much trouble please help me make this a good christmas for my son hear is the spec of my rom in the xbox 360

Simply put 3 choices because you can not at the moment flash in the normal way

1.Send it to  some one who has done it before
2. Buy a willem programmer remove bios chip programme yourself  (extremely hard)
3.Instal modchip

thanx m8 for the reply so there aint no way 2 do these then like the way you do the samsung then carnt you switch these into mode b and do it through windows with the auto flasher program or have i just brought a bag of crap but im sure ive read some were people have done these drives aint garyopa sorted anything for these drives yet please message bk

If you think Samsungs have a mode B then you should stay away from your 360, your far from being able to extract the chip and dump and flash it. I recommend you send it to someone that knows what they're doing.

hello m8 i think you got the wrong end of the stick i did not say anything about samsungs haveing a mode b i was just saying why couldent the hitachi be as easy as the samsung  i aint no noob a bit of electical work dont bother me im a bit clued up in that department m8 i no me way round a pc 2 all i want i some 1  two shed a bit of light on the subject thats all i thought that wat these forums are all about well i must be wrong then it seems 2 me its every 1 for themself thanx anyway for them people how are kind enough 2 reply and thanx 2 them how have repleyed
