Straight Answer - Hitach E65
« on: December 03, 2006, 02:44:00 PM »

Guys,
Just spent 2 hours reading every thread on E65. I will be swapping a Hitachi 46 for a 47 shortly and know what I need to do in order to inject the key, but is there anything else to be done to ensure no E65?

Sorry if there is some precise thread on this somewhere.

e65 is a bad flash error. or corrupted or missing firmware.

So the only thing to make sure that does not happen is do not screw up the firmware.

If you know what killed your drive in the first place then you should know what not to do next time.

if you do not know what killed your drive last time.. I would highly suggest figuring it out first before flashing another drive.
