Computer Freezing In Dos When Xbox360 Is Powered On.
« on: December 02, 2006, 06:20:00 PM »

Hardware:
PCI SATA: VT6421L
Xbox360 Drive: Samsung (MS25) Flashed with Xtreme 3.3

Issue:
Here is what happens. I am just trying to read the firmware off the drive to make sure that it is in fact working. I start my computer. Boot to MSDOS turn on the Xbox 360 and the computer locks up. It doesn't let me type anything in and the computer needs to be rebooted. Anyone know what could be causing this and what I can do to fix it?

Any help is appreciated.
Thank You

Is the 360 powered up before you turn your pc on? if you are starting them at the same time it might not boot up quick enough for your bios to see it. You have to have the box powered up before you turn on your pc. You might also want to check in your bios settings to make sure you have raid turned off and your ide settings are set for pata and sata. Hope that helps.
