Hi I have a hitachi lg dvd drive (47dj) its been flashed with 2.2 garyopa and working fine for a couple of months now I got an unplayable disc error on originals and backups so I ordered a new laser from ebay and it still does not work (get open tray error now) I did the open try fix still not working but the laser light comes on. What I noticed is the laser will not slide on the rails any idea on how to fix this ?

Anyone ? I just flashed it to the original firmware and now I turned it on put in burnout (original) and it says "reading" for like 1 sec and go to open try.. any ideas ? this is a brand new laser.

I also noticed the tray only ejects if the laser is against the spindle (that thing that goes in the cd cirlce) any idea's I don't really want to buy another 360
