well, no. For some reason it doesn't work. I tried deleting the proper folders in TDATA and UDATA, cleared the cache, But it still doesn't work. If I put the FDB4 version back on, however, it works.

well, this is REALLY weird. It still won't boot up. All files are correctly transfered, and i deleted the a64something folders in TDATA and UDATA, I checked several times, if default.jpg is in /Media/boxart/ and all 3 jpgs plus png are in /Media/ui.

My xbox refuses to go further than to the loading screen of unleashX. I just don't get it.

well, it didnt work for me too at first, but then patching all .xbes with dexbe did the trick. It's a great surreal version but majora's mask is messed up, its way to slow to play right now.

alirght, forget my question where to get dexbe. Do I need to patch ALL xbes? pj64.xbe etc. or is default.xbe enough?

when you said intro, do you mean the story part at the beginning too? Because it was slow too there. Main menu was running fine though. I'll try playing a little longer and see what happens. Also, i noticed that majora's settings don't get saved (it doesn't create a .ini file). Is it because the filename is too long??

Well, when I patched the default.xbe, the emu started working, but then i couldn't get any game to work. So I patched all the other x.bes and boom, everything started working properly

Nope, dexbe didn't work for me. I'll post my filestructure here, perhaps I'm missing something obvious.

if you wait long enough and press start several times at startup, you'll soon notice that it's very playable. Only the intro is slow, the rest should be working..

Ok, it seems majora's mask just doesn't want to work for me. During the intro, after the text detailing the story, the screen turns white and black random shapes start to appear. I can hear the sound though, music and all, but no graphics.

Did you try checking all the media types? I always do that just in case.

I would like to use my romset that I have burned on my DVD. I set the Rompath to A:\N64\ (that's where they are located on the DVD-R), and it finds those ROMS, however, Surreal itself takes a very long time to boot (hell, its 438 Roms or something). It seems to me, that surreal no longer writes a romlist to the HDD and therefore needs to scan the DVD-R for Roms every time. Is that correct?
