What speed is the SH-D162C if the SH-S182D is 18X speed? will the replacement model be able to be flashed with Kreon firmware?

The Sh-d162c is 16x speed and I don't think at the present time the SH-S182D can be flashed with Kreons firmware but he has said he's looking at the SH-S182D or SH-S162L for future firmware.
