Name them. Aside from oustanding first party titles like the Jak series, the Rachet and Clank series, Twisted Metal Black, Mark of the Kri, War of the Monsters, and the Sly Cooper series, there really isn't much else of interest.

Katmari Damacy, Front Mission 4, Frequency and Amplitude, Devil May Cry, Gungrave, FF series, getting the GTA games First, Armored Core series, Metal Gear Solid 3, Grand Turismo 3 and 4, ICO, Rez, SOCOM I and II, Kingdom Hearts, Onimusha 2 and 3, etc...

There are plenty of good reasons to own a PS2.

That said, PS2 emulation is not likely come to the Xbox.

Agreed, but shenmue 1 & 2 are uncompletable in the present release of chankast.

My advice don't go selling those DC's just yet and if you don't have one get one now while they're still cheap.

Katmari Damacy, Front Mission 4, Frequency and Amplitude, Devil May Cry, Gungrave

All of those games are trash with the exception of Devil May Cry, which I find quite tired now anyway. The first Gun Grave was good, but the sequel was horrible.

FF series, getting the GTA games First

Who gives a shit about Faggot Fantasy? As for GTA, we still get them and they look a hell of a lot better with no slowdown.

Armored Core series, Metal Gear Solid 3

We have Mechassault, Steel Battalion, and Gun Griffon. Metal Gear Solid is horrible now, they should have stopped after the first, and part 2 was inexcusable.

Grand Turismo 3 and 4, ICO, Rez, SOCOM I and II, Kingdom Hearts, Onimusha 2 and 3, etc...

Gran Turismo? Surely you jest, with the advent of a more superior racer on the horizon; Gran Turismo will go the way of the dinosaur. Check out Forza, and try the demo as well, you won't touch GT again. ICO never really interested me, I found it rather boring to be honest. Rez was horrible on PS2, you should try the superior Dreamcast version, the way it was meant to be played. Socom? That name seems to escape me after playing a few games of Ghost Recon 2 wink.gif. Another RPG? Did you mean Ninja Gaiden? wink.gif.

Still, I'm not expecting much. Unless they give the source to a reliable Xbox devo, I can't see many updates from them. But, there's always hope.

Xport?

Anyways. A DC emulator for Xbox? That would be cool, finaly we could play GREAT games on the Xbox!

Games were much better a couple of years ago, today its nothing but mainstream titles. And that goes for all the consoles, Xb, PS2 and GC.

I just hope they wait to do a public release when it's good and ready.  If they release a laggy or buggy version then we gotta read all the "I told you it wouldn't work posts"

It would be better to not release anything than release something unuseable.

Anyway, exciting news for sure!  RE:CV on Xbox would kick ass!  Keep up the great work!

Just to think, how will the Xbox read Dreamcast games since they are on GD-ROM discs? And since we can't backup Dreamcast games from a PC, how are you going to back them to CD-R (or DVD-R if possible)?

I can see a thread now: "I downloaded this game for Dreamcast & it won't run on the DC Emu....."
