Hitachi 46dg Drive Problems, Please Help
« on: November 15, 2006, 01:14:00 PM »

Tried to flash a Hitach 46DG with Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth Revision 2
I used the usb connectivity kit, and ran FLASH23S.BAT.

Step one failed with Flashing 1/9 sector 90003000 (Xtreme Custom Code)...
DeviceIOControl() failed 0
failed to execute flasher (sense: 05/26/00)

every other step ran ok. Tried it, and originals were fine, backups were not, just kept seeking, then stopped reading hte disk.

Restored fine, and tried again. Flash was 100 percent this time, but the same outcome!

Restore again, and tried FLASH16S, again with same outcome.

can anyone please help/suggest anything to try?

i have flashed 3 other hitachis this way fine (not 46DG though)

thanks

Paul
