I have a flashed a few different drives and I have never had this happen;

tried flashing a Virgin Hitachi 47dj with Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth

The first time it went through failing on 1/9 (Xtreme custm code) with 'DeviceIOControl failed 0'
It then carried on and read 'done' on the remaining sectors.
At the end I got PASS: Flashing of XTREME is 100

I thought I should re flash as 1/9 failed....

So kicked it off again.  This time 1/9 said 'done'
straight after 1/9 'done' and 'IS the flashing stable' 'done'  'done'  I got ERROR: Hitachi DVD drive is NOT flashing...
WARNING One of THREE things could be wrong

#1: shut down all background programs
#2: Windows is in compatible, try SAFE MODE
#3: Your DVD drive isnt really in Mode B

I freaked out a little, tried again and got the same error after 1/9 said 'done'.

I then rebooted the PC, booting using the SLAX CD and Windows booted OK.  The drive was visible again in Windows.  I made sure that no apps were running the background (just like before) and tried the flash again.

I got the exact same error after 1/9 said Done, followed by 'IS the flashing stable' 'done'  'done' The the ERROR again.

I noticed that if you hit eject on the 360 dvd rom you have to hit it twice before it opens (So this must mean that the 'undo tray tweak' sectors couldnt have flashed which is 8/9

Any ideas???
