Hd-dvd Dash Update - Threat To Hacked Fw?

The HD-DVD drive requires a dash update as part of its installation process.  The main visual difference is the open/close button for the DVD drive(s).

The new Dash version is 2.0.4532.0 and the new Kernel version is 2.0.4532.0.  The BK is the same.  I installed the HD-DVD drive on a 360 with original FW.

I've not tried this on a hacked FW box.  Can anyone confirm whether or not this is the same update (at least from a dash perspective) as the fall update?
