So, this is about my 10th drive ive flashed, no issues untill now.
Brand new machine, dont even turn it  on.  I Flash the ms 25 drive with 4.2b and boot up, update with fall update, then try to load a backup. It wont read anything, original or backup.  It just says open tray.  So i flash back to the original firmware, Still wont even read an original.
I pot tweaked, then swapped out the mainboard of the dvd drive with a known good laser and it still just says open tray with an original in there.

another weird thing is when i turn the thing on it seems to take extra long to go to the dash.

a little frustrated here. damn it
