Hi
I Just flashed my v59DJ and it worked perfect.  Thanks

But the grd59.bin is not store in the backup directory, just store the key.bin,  was.bin, 59_16.bin and now.bin.

Thats mean my original firmware is gone or the was.bin is my original firmware?

The readme is out of date, the "59_16.bin" is the original firmware WITHOUT your drive key

The WAS.BIN is the firmware before flashing was started WITH your drive key,
which means if this is the first time flashing it would be your original firmware,
but if is an update over another flash it would be the your older Xtreme version.

I know this is to fix the original version of the game but is it possible that this new EA trick would effect the backup aswell? The reason i ask is because both me and a friend have had dirty disc errors on the backups , i have samsung and he has Hitachi and ive never had this problem with any other backup........

this is all wrong, im running the original tiger woods PAL on 2.1 release on my hitachi on my xbox which hasnt been on live. fifa 07 also runs on the drive as well, theses arent backups but originals which i`ve managed to get hold of. So the problem isnt as clear cut as people think.

Thanks for confirmation that originals are working.  This change of boot order will not harm and maybe will "cut" the posibility of the fake ss on 4fb1f  (if ever exists) affect the originals

gotta watch those words even if you are kidding...

the owners of this site and the software developing sites don't want you to know that
the whole piracy of games is a scam...

most if not all software development companies get huge grants from unlisted government agencies to produce all the combat and killing style games and whatever else might be your favorite genre of game..

anyone with half a fucking brain can tell just by seeing some of these game development companies with their lavish campus settings are getting shitloads of money and it's not coming from software sales....

more than likely it's backdoor deals from tax payers money.....

I hate to even go this far.. but all this hacked firmware sounds like a scheme by M$ to get more
sales... The original XBOX didn't start selling until modchips started coming out... More than likely,
these firmware hacks are M$'s way to increase sales like it's Symantec's and McAfee's way to have
blackops groups to write viruses and trojans to sell more anti-virus products..

I mean come on people... Do you really believe that if M$ wanted to lock down security that they would
have left wide gapping holes in the DVD firmware to be easily hacked... If they wanted to they would
have created a burn once PROM and never allowed reflashing as easy as it has been...

Just some thoughts...

To Maximus:

Update is needed in your v2.2 and v2.3 release.

BUG REPORT
===========

The v36 and v58 firmware are "brickers", need a small correction.

Here is the info:

V36 = Return Jump Located at >352F should be >DC >FF >0A >03 >00

V58 = Return Jump Located at >352F should be >DC >8F >12 >03 >00

-=(Gary at O.P.A.)=-

P.S. Many thanks MAXIMUS for your efforts and help in the x360 world.

Yes, my point exactly in regards to v58 (DJ) firmware.
Fails to boot originals and backups (reads continuously) when xtreme v2.2 and or v2.3 are applied.

v2.1 works great!

Thanks for all the hard work and great software Gary OPA and MAXIMUS!
