Also, for your information, the 110 pisses all over the 111
Not true, to many users reporting problems with 110
Apparently the drive was rushed out and has many flaws (hence pioneer 111 released shortly after)
I have 2 x pioneer A09 XL and would never swap for 110.

Sorry to ask two silly questions, I just want to be 100% sure before I flash. I have a Hitachi v59DJ, will this work fine with my drive? Also for the flashing procedure I would do the following:
1. With the pc off connect the xecuter kit to the drive and the sata cable from my pc to the drive also (I've got a via addon card VT6421A, onboard SIL 3112 and an addon SIL 3112. I assume any one of these will be fine?)
2. Have the debug button down and the eject button up.
3. Power up the pc and make sure the drive is dectected in windows and given a drive letter.
4. Open a cmd prompt and type FLASH23S.BAT <drive letter> <unique 4 digit number to save files to>
5. Let the flash finish then put the drive back in the xbox and test
Is this correct?
Thanks
Yes
I have same drive , i flashed with xp in safe mode , you will have no problems as long as windows see's the drive.
What i done to be sure was to right click on the drive in windows and select "eject" so the hitachi opens, then i flashed with the tray open.
When done flashing push the tray back in and power off pc.
You dont need the tray open but this is how i done 3 hitachi's without fail.
