I've read about any tutorial but i have a few issues. Here's my hardware :
- Asus P4P800
- Pioneer 111d DVD (with 812L firmware), i also tried with a LiteOn LTN 526S
- 360 with ms28 july 06
First i tried the normal method with EVERY possible settings and it was a NO GO (IMG:

Then i tried the Xtreme Boot method but i had the following issues :
1. When i select the customMTKflash i have : "Contrôleur de stockage Ultra ATA Intel® 82801EB - 24DB"
but when i click "detect" it says the device is not compatible with MTKflash (which is funny because i flashed countless MS25 and hitachi)
There's 6 options (it's in french but this is quite obvious) :
Contrôleur de stockage Ultra ATA Intel® 82801EB - 24DB (not compatible with MTKFlash)
Canal IDE principal (not compatible with MTKFlash)
Canal IDE secondaire (not compatible with MTKFlash)
Contrôleur de stockage Ultra ATA Intel® 82801EB - 24D1 (compatible with MTKFlash, device ID 808624D1 I/O port : CC00C800)
Canal IDE principal (not compatible with MTKFlash)
Canal IDE secondaire (not compatible with MTKFlash)
i checked MS28 bad flash compatibility and boke's patch.
Then when i boot i have 6 options :
1. IDE PRI MAST
2. ICH5 PRI master
3. ICH5 PRI Salve
4. ICH5 Sec Master
5. ICH5 Sec Salve
6. Xtreme pri master
7. Xtreme pri Slave
8. Xtreme sec master
i tried EVERY single one several times... (with LiteOn DVD or Pioneer DVD to test both)
Do you have a solution ?? Please.
BTW i tried with the 360 ON on the PC boot and OFF too.
Any help would be really appriciated, please tell me if my only option is to buy a VIA SATA PCI card ?
Hey I too have this board.... it is the ICH5 chipset that makes it VERY difficult to time.
I have posted my way of doing it..
click the link and it will show you the way I got it done...it has helped a couple of people now..
Of course this is the VCC method.. NO add on card needed.
as far as I know... you can't do this on this motherboard without using the vcc resistor removal method.
otherwise you have to get a via chipset card.
