Try it a couple of times, it takes a minute for dos to correctly pick the drive up.

have u gotton the same error b4? what were the steps u went through? starting from the pc and xbox being turned off both disconnected from eachother. thanks, ur guys r great ^ ^

do you still have this problem. If yes, please write which drive you have.
I´m by no means an expert, but I think I can help you if it´s a Samsung (hopefully not ms28).
I updated my FW to version 4.1 using mtkflash183c this morning, and I have the same chipset as you.
