i had something very close to this with nba 2k7.sometimes it would boot sometimes it wouldnt and when it would boot it would hang at the end of the 1stQ,the backup turned out the same..took it back and the 2nd disk worked just fine..there must be a higher rate of bad disks being made nodays because i never ran into that b4...

Umm.. backups should work.  Originals with hacked firmware do not work.

Really... I just get an open tray error (first game to ever do this) I am using Verbatim DVD+R DL media with my Pioneer 111D burner. I tried it on 2 x360's with 47dj drives. Is anyone else having this problem ?
