Team Underdog Working to make NME360 Compatible with Hitachi-LG v78

We finally received a Hitachi 78 machine. You can be sure that the next batches of NME-360 Chips will support these drives, too.
On a sidenote we want to clarify one thing: The Network-Off feature disables the LAN connection of the Xbox360. When you are using the Xbox360 wireless adapter then it doesn't matter if you have the network-off feature installed or not because it is connected to the USB port and not to the LAN connection.

Yeah, sure, ok....

Maybe if it comes with a instant black glue remover I'll consider it.  Until then, I'll wait for the fw hackers to figure out how to read/write to the drive.

PR garbage.  I bet they will only 'find a solution' after the scene does.

Yeah yeah.. Underdog.. buy something from you that looks like it cost under $5 to build with a msrp of $39 let the end user have a problem .. then let him email you... and I hope he/she doesn't hold their breath......

Build a better product Like use a better board at least, and if all hitachi from 47 to 59 need a capacitor why dont you put it on the board instead of sending it loose in the staticbag. I mean if you can solder the chip why not the capacitor on the same board instead of  instructing everyone to do it, and if beggars can be choosy for $39 and a lack of support can you provide some wires too.... Then maybe you'll have a something to talk about.....

The network off feature is the STUPIDEST thing ever.

If you want the network off, unplug the cable.  Having it on will disable network access period when you're using a backup, and you may decide you want it on at some point.

Kind of reminds me of Team Xecuter Products.

I got a batch of 10 NMEs and must say there are really easy to install, Although I prefer to do the very easy fw upgrade there are still to many people tripping of loosing xbox live so they want a chip, whatever makes the customer happy I say.
