I did exactly the same and for the life of me have reverted back to previous firmware and it will still do the same thing...   sad.gif
I did have 3.2fw and have tried to go back to 3.2, 3.3 even tried 4.0 it flashes perfectly when i use 0800 but it still wont let me play backups or orig, just movies  even with 3.2, 3.3 and 4.0
It was a samsung ms25 changed to samsung ms28 with firm 4.1.
I have checked and used my orig firm, there is no prob there.
I have never had any probs in the past with updating till I changed to 4.1
Also I have done over 40 mods to friends 360's so no noob first time stuff done.
I have noticed 1 or 2 other people with the same prob in this post..... but now a cure for this problem..... Can someone please help!!!!!....  grr.gif

ok. just flashed the drive with 4.1b. All ok, no problems on the flash. Put it back together, and now it doesnt read discs. Tried backups and originals.

Now, my question is, does this mean i cannot use the Enable0800 disc to reflash back to another firmware version?

I was like, ok, no problem. I'll just burn a enable0800 disc and reflash. But, is that even possible now?

Was using Samsung ms25 flashed from original, using X360SAM0.4 (modified .bat for 41.cool.gif via connectivity kit.

This has to be a drive key error.  You positive you have the right orig.bin for your drive?

I never use slow-mode.  I wish there was a 4.1C that ran full speed all the time no matter what.

I agree!  Thats a great idea!  biggrin.gif

Didn't see your orig.bin, your original firmware dump in the folder? you named it as backup.bin? You need to rename it to orig.bin as the 'Make X41a.bin' (or cool.gif is looking for the orig.bin file. Unless u run the command yourself at CMD.
