Another successfull flash from 3.1 to 4.1a , i have a fat partition in my hard disk 512 MB , and i just put all the files needed in there and then boot to dos using the hiren boot cd(can use other methods do...) and flash the drive with no problem , have done already about 6 drives.

I did exactly the same and for the life of me have reverted back to previous firmware and it will still do the same thing...

I did have 3.2fw and have tried to go back to 3.2, 3.3 even tried 4.0 it flashes perfectly when i use 0800 but it still wont let me play backups or orig, just movies even with 3.2, 3.3 and 4.0
It was a samsung ms25 changed to samsung ms28 with firm 4.1.
I have checked and used my orig firm, there is no prob there.
I have never had any probs in the past with updating till I changed to 4.1
Also I have done over 40 mods to friends 360's so no noob first time stuff done.
I have noticed 1 or 2 other people with the same prob in this post..... but now a cure for this problem..... Can someone please help!!!!!....

This has to be a drive key error. You positive you have the right orig.bin for your drive?
