Maximus Xtreme v1.5 Firmware for Hitachi-LG v0078
« Reply #15 on: October 13, 2006, 06:42:00 PM »

Working on complete working v78 release with flashing via software and tools to dump.

In the meantime, this early version released is a little buggy,
first mistake is the "Media Detect v2" patch is in the wrong place.

The correct info is as follows:

Patching location for "Media Detect v2" is >340B4 not (344CD)

As such the correct location bytes at >340B4 should be >DC 4C F4 FC FF
And of course the bad patched location at >344CD needs,
To be returned to its original unpatched data, which was >80 03 02 48 0A

Then the return code also needs to be corrected, which starts at >352C
And now should be as follows: >02 48 0A DC 8A 0B 03 00

That's all for now, Folks!

I don't have any beef with "c4eva", just IRC and MSN is not my type of world, I can't handle the many problems, I work, own, run a large company here in Toronto and it is hard to work all day, sometimes 12 hours and then stay up and handle baby shit on the IRC channels, I am here in Toronto and "c4e" is down-under in Aussie so the time change is big problem never online at the same time, and since my releases of the Hitachi (it being more common than the Samsung, I have flooded with thousands of emails, pms on a daily basis, sometimes in the over 2,000 a day range, repling to them is crazy but I do, then when I try using either MSN or IRC it is even worse, my screen is flooded with thousands and thousands and thousands of pop-up chat requests until the whole computer freezes and I am force to reboot, and most of the time I use my company internet which is "static IP", I even needed to change IP's twice now because of the baby-hackers trying to see if they can finds files or codes after hacking thru the firewall, ugh!

Oh'well my email is public, if "c4e" wants to help or chat it is best via email, everyone else does it and I replied to follow coders emails within 15 minutes.

Interesting, c4e is a fellow Aussie is he... any idea which city?

Thinking I may have even met the guy at an Amiga group back in the early 90s!

(that'd be like meeting the Messiah :-)

I agree the willem programmer with the tsop adapter is good.  Quite expensive off the willem site though, I'd rather go for ebay.. much cheaper.
