Just download an hacked M$ dashboard from ''a source'' (sorry I can't give you any links but it shouldn't be to hard to find) and copy it to the harddisk. Just launch it and enable PAL60 from that.

I know what he means. Downloading a hacked MS dash doesn't change that he has to go into the MS dash (hacked or otherwise).
It's for people with borderline old PAL tvs which can display at 60hz but the image is slightly distorted so it's preferable to display what you can at 50hz while displaying what-still-looks-better-munted-then-at-50hz at PAL-60. (Atleast that's the benefit that I see, fil might have other reasons).

Unfortunatley fil, there isn't such a feature (that I've found) :( The closest I've seen is Avalaunch which can auto switch from PAL to NTSC depending on the region of the game (or what you've predetermined I think). And XBMC can display itself in PAL-50 when PAL-60 is enabled, but cannot change any app it launches. Not sure about other dash's.

:(

Avalaunch can switch between pal-i and pal-60(pal-i = pal-50).Unleash also allows you to boot specific games in a chosen video mode but this may only work in multi-region games(can't remember)XBMP can also switch between video modes but IIRC it was somewhat buggy and they didn't put it into xbmc...it could just be that there were too many beginner problems that come with a somewhat dangerous feature if the effects are not understood and that the switching itself works fine....but I haven't tried my self so I can't give my opinion on this
