Strange Hitachi 59dj Problem.
« on: October 11, 2006, 01:58:00 PM »

OK this could be a bit long winded but bare with me. I'll start from the beggining.....
When dead rising came out i got a couple of people bring there samsung 360's back saying that the game locked up at the same point every time (a minute or two into the game, the first time you try to enter the entrance plaza). After much testing and trying differant things i sussed out that there drives needed the firmware updating to the latest version software. After doing this both peoples games worked flawlesly.  Since then i have read on several differant forums that lots of people have had exactly the same problem and resolved it the same way. Anyhow the assumption is that there is or was a problem with that perticular game and older firmware. Now with that in mind ill get to my point. I have recently flashed 2 hitachi 59DJ's with several differant firmware's including the new 2.2 and they both have the same old problem with dead rising at exactly the same point as before (see above). So does anybody have any idea what would cause this and can it be resolved. Ive burnt game on a couple of differant types of media and all produce the same result. Oh and the game worx fine in my samsung Ms28. Maybe some of you that have 59DJ's could test there dead rising and see if it happens to them , it only takes 2 mins to get to the point of crash.

Legal stuff ( all games mentioned are either originals or backups of said originals (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif))

Any input will be much appreciated!!!

C'mon guyz...i know this game has had its day but we could see the same problem with future releases. It only takes 2 mins to test. I just want to know if everyone else has the same problem (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
