Urgent: Restore.bat Crashed During Update, Need Help
« on: October 10, 2006, 10:52:00 AM »

I was using restore.exe from Maximus/GaryOPA v2.2 to flash the drive(Hitachi 47DJ) with original firmware when my computer crashed, explorer went down and restore.bat just froze while it was flashing the first part(UnStealth) , I waited over an hour and there was no change. So I rebooted the computer since I couldn't do anything else. I did not power down the drive beacause I don't want a brick (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I really could use some help, the drive is completly unresponsive eject does nothing, and it doesnt get recognised by windows (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Is there anything I can do or do I just power down the xbox and pray that it didn't brick my drive?

I could really use some help here
Thanks in advance

Sounds bricked to me.  If windows won't recognize it....it's pretty much done.

I powered down the 360, powered back up, I was happy just to see the eject work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Did the open tray trick to get in modeb, and it got recognized by windows!!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I can't believe how lucky I was!!

Thanks for all your help anyways! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

PS: Does anyone know why I can't edit the topic? Is this normal? I was going to mark it as solved =\
