I see that flash22 got f900 core.. Dunno what it means.

Just flashed my v47DH with this and it works great. Even games that never used to work on my Hitachi (but worked on my friends Samsung) now work great

If you read either the readme or the posted info you would see this part:
"*RECOMENDATION: If you have flashed your drive in the past use RESTORE
first. If it is a brand new drive use directly the Flash command you
like. If you dont plan to use your drive to dump games use the
flash15s.bat "

My question is - Should I flash the one with f9000 core. I MIGHT be using it to dump games, butt hen again i might not.

Will running the f9000 core still let me play games as usual - as in, can I just flash the f9000 one and its just the same as the one without, except I can dump ss?

Hi guys,

If I've flashed the Hitachi with Birdy, how do I flash the drive with GaryOPA? Do I restore with Birdy then flash as new with GrayOPA?

I've already messed up this drive once, I do not want to do it again!

is it worth updating then, i`ve got 3.0 stealth backups on my hitachi 47DJ drive working perfect, i was using the 2.0 or 2.1 release, not sure which one but it was the prior release to this.

Media stealth = responds with the exact same information that an original pressed disc would when the 360 interogates the drive.

Firmware stealth = returns the same drive firmware and/or checksums if the 360 interogates it.


Currently the Toshiba-Samsung Xtreme-v3 firmwares have both forms of stealth, whilst the Hitachi-LG Xtreme-v2 firmwares only have firmware stealth.


So we are all patiently awaiting GaryOPA's Hitachi media stealth feature :-)
