basically i installed all the correct drivers for the newlink ALi SATA card then i used a floppy i made up with all the correct files x360sam0.3 xtreme3.2 etc..... .
i firstly unplug my pc's on board SATA lead from my pc hard drive.

i connect the xbox up to the newlink SATA card (360 power off ) and boot from floppy (x360sam0.3) this is what i get with the power off the 360:-

(detects ides firstly then):-
(newlink card)

after this it then boots from the floppy and when it stops i power on the 360.
i then type
SAMHACK ******* ***** (floppy for this console read and saved previously on another pc to this floppy)
and the DOS pc says :-

1 IDE PRI MASTER
2IDE PRI SLAVE
3 IDE SEC SLAVE

CHOOSE ONE DRIVE

.,.,.,.,

but the SATA NEWLINK ALi card slot with the 360 plugged into doesnt show aso i cant select it.

now if i power the console on right from the begining before i even boot the PC i get this on boot up:-

but after this , before it leaves this DOS page to boot to floppy the DOS page freezes and cannot use keyboard to get out and have to crash the pc.

so basically my pc cant see the 360 dvd-rom unless the 360 is turned on before i boot but this makes it freeze and cant boot to floppy to read hack orig, ...

can anyone please help as im going up the wall here as to why 360/pc aint talking.all's i want is to flash it bvut i cant get the 2 to communicate.
