Can someone help me please?

I've already flashed my hitachi 3120l (78fk), and it's working, the problem it its that I can't make a backup from an original dvd. When I run some tools likes schtrom360 Xtract or xbox backup creator, it says that my drive can't do some functions (if I remember, 'ss' functions or something).

Can I make a backup with another way?
