The actual card looks the same as the ALI chipset one that i originally had that never worked and processes the commands in the same way, it would always read the firmware correctly but always had problems writing anything.  I wouyld suggest you stop trying to flash with that card before you do your 360 dvd drive some damage and get hold of a card with a VIA Chipset. It may already be too late but hey it's worth a try

Thanks all for your responses! I'm gonna try it with a different card and stop using this sata card. I'll send you all an update. If anyone else has any idea why it won't write other than the card, let me know! thanks!

you should download "xtreme boot maker", it will edit your mtkflash to use for your computer.
it sounds like you thought you read the your orig.bin firmware, but maybe you didnt.
check your orig.bin(very important) in toolbox.
