Is there any certain bios for the playstation emulator, or does the sph1001 work the best?

I'm having the same problem. I have the bin and the cue file for several games, but every time I try to load the .bin, it says "could not load the scph 1001bios" somethng or other. HELP! I've been on the scene for about 6 months, done all sorts of crazy things to my xbox, but I have NEVER been able to get Pcsxbox working. Somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

 Eh.. how about downloading the psx bios?

:P Uh.. heh heh. yeah. I've been doing some research and that's the problem.
 Let me be an example:

IF YOU CAN'T FIGURE SOMETHING OUT, YOU HAVEN'T READ ENOUGH

I've been guilty of this on more than one occasion. I'll ask for the answer on a silver platter before I exhaust all possible solutions, only to find that the answer was one of the things I was too lazy to try.

Thanks for the obvious tip VampX. You've helped out this noob more than once.

 to answer your question (which should NOT be lumped in with the one beneath it), the bioses don't seem to differ from each other much at all. some people use the scph101 bios from the PSone, but nothing's been proven to work any better than the default.
