this is awesome, thanks Kreon for the hard work. I love this drive. I think ripping the dvd drive out of my 360 every time i wanted to make a backup would suck balls.

No, It means that If you do a full extract in schtrom 2.1, you are ready to burn the image right after. The message is a false alarm based on the assumption that you are still using fw 0.6 that does not have SS extraction.

So all is nice exctract whole image (forget the warning) and burn.

Wow possibilities of devoloping "homebrew code". Seems this drive will do anything if it makes you a few extra bucks.

OK folks I can confirm this one works with no problems

Have just backed up my Hitman 360 game using 0.8 and Schtrom360XtractV2.1 and all I did was back it up , ignore the error message, and burn with clone cd.

So dont worry about the size it gives ya, it works!

i'm gonna have to disagree with that tactic. considering that thread wasnt there already. now you might say, that the thread shoulda been started by someone else before, but it wasnt.

Very nice work Kreon!!! As stated earlier, it works fine with schtrom 2.1, just ignore the warning that pops up about the ss.bin. Just rip with schtrom (whole disk (stealth xtreme 3.0)), and burn with clonecd. Doesnt get much simpler than that.

I didn't realize you can flash the SH-D162C drive and get it to read xbox 360 games... oh now I can backup my games so much easeier :-D

Now just a matter of finding this drive. If anyone has one for sale for a *reasonable* price please PM me.

I will not buy one on ebay for what they are asking!
