No but if you open up your 360 it will say somewhere on the top of the drive FW=_ _ or MS=_ _ the dashes represent 25 or 28 what it says here is your firmware (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

i thought you flash all the drives (within samsung) with the same firmware.

You do it's just the 28 version is a little more difficult to do.

Don't forget there's also the Hitachi drives which require a different firmware and process.
