"OMG, what a dumbass, he used an auto flasher instead of a hex editor in Linux from a command line. He is so not 1337 like me and has no business on this forum trying to back up his media, only us pirates should be allowed here."

You're an idiot. The best part is you decided to do your 3rd post by pulling this thread from page 2! Good one!

I used a hex editor in Windows that had a GUI thank you. I also understand how to read the tutorials posted everywhere on how to do this and how to take the advice from other forum members that state to do it manually as that is the safest way. It has nothing to do with, as you say, being leet or any of that other childish hacker wannabe crap. It has to do with comprehension.
You have also already made it perfectly clear in this thread that you think post count makes a difference in anything...............so..............sorry my XS wang isnt as large as yours. Grow up........... rolleyes.gif

And this is the 2nd mention of piracy about me, I dunno why since all I said was I am trying to back up my Dead Rising, how is that different from anyone else here?

Errrr................let me quote you...........

I have also tried Dead Rising, on Riteck Dl media, to no avail.

Let me quote you again just to let it sink in..............

If one simply flashed their drive, and burned the Dead Rising release, one still needs to patch it somehow?

Doesnt look like you said you were trying to back up your original copy. Backing up your own original game has nothing to do with burning the Dead Rising release, now does it? Besides, how did you manage to get an image to burn it without backing it up with the modified firmware(thus proving you did a proper flash)? I really want to read the bullshit excuse you will come up with at this point..........

How did I know you couldn't help yourself but to continue to attempt to engage in a flame war, oh I know, cause most game related forums are full of 13yr old dipshits like you.

Amazing how you say that most of the forum members know to do it manually, when the tutorials section actually says: "- OPA Xtreme v2.1 Hitachi-LG Firmware 7in1 (FW package we currently recommend for this drive)"

"Ha-ha, he said a bad word on the forum, he's in troooouble!" And the Dead Rising game wasn't released? You just wish that somebody gets kicked for talking about what you and most of the visitors here are ACTUALLY doing. Please stop playing dumb.

I will not be checking back for a further response, so don't bother. Anyone else still reading this thread should look for a better way to spend their time. Otherwise mayonnaise would love to chat.

Sure you will....

....and most people can read....so read the damn rules that state no piracy talk....talking about burning a game release its 100% piracy....no other way to possibly take that comment.

Its not our fault you never stated the drive you had...........had you done that in the first place, you probably would have received much better help.

Flame war............who keeps calling people morons, idiots, 13 year old dipshits, etc.............oh thats right, you do. I'm still waiting for you to explain how you don't know if you flashed properly, yet you somehow "extracted and burned your own copy of Dead Rising" (which again, requires your firmware to already be flashed for you to at least get the SS).
