one quick question...




whats the firmware version on your Damsung drive? It will be an MS number like MS25 or MS28.

My Samsung Drive Firmware version is MS25.
My PCI card has VT6421A chipset and this is the information that msinfo32 give to me :

I tested all MTKflash versions found in the net but no one is worked. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
is this possible to flash my samsung drive with this PCI-SATA card ?
how can i should edit mtkflash to work ?

Can someone check it out see where i'm going wrong, I came up with this hex value

0611 4932 00DC 00D8

mtkflash.typ is rename correctly to match mtkflash.exe, also i've tried both mtkflash types mentioned above on both sata ports on the card, still no luck. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

finally got it to work now using the above hex code and another hex code aswell "0611 4932 D024 B024"

Make sure everythings disconected and powered off (xbox 360 and sata cable) untill your ready to hit enter for the following command: -


mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin or

mtkflash w /m /sata xtrm32.bin

also a major problem cause was the mtkflash filename i had loads mtkflash2.exe, mtkflashvia.exe etc ...

rename them all to mtkflash.exe and make sure mtkflash.typ is there too.
Use separate folders if you have more than one mtkflash file to try out.

Also make sure it's in the correct sata port.

I am glad you were able to flash it. Can I ask where you got D024 B024 from?

its cool. I flashed mine as soon as the sata card came in. I was just curious because the values you used were different than what you had in msinfo..
