No need for all of that.  Just a simple question.  Didnt know my sig offended you so much?  Anyways still doesnt answer my main question.  Does my friend have to reburn all his games to make them stealth?

from what i understand , no.

only if future games use a different DFI

from the .nfo "Non-Stealth Backups automatically enhanced with embeded PFI for Xbox 360 and Xbox 1"

So in other words the backups he has already made will be embeded with the PFI file automatically so that it will become a stealth backup?  Sorry for all the questions but I just want to clarify this as much as possible.  Thanks alot

Nope. There are two checks additional checks being stealthed, only 1 of them can automatically be fixed for every game, the other is game dependent.

Gotcha... Thanks for the clarification.  smile.gif

Eventually got my drive flashed. Unplugged the second hard drive from SATA port 2, so just my 360 dvd was plugged in and it flashed and works fine now with the modded V3 firmware. Didn't have to do this with V1 though?

Just a question about games I'm going by this guide http://www.traptrakz.../X360/tutorial/ when it says

"Now you will need to copy the following files ( "blank360.iso" "build360.bat" "IMAGE.dvd" ) from your "Xbox 360 Isobuilder" folder to the folder containing "game.iso" and "ss.bin"
So you should now have a folder containing the following files ( "blank360.iso" "build360.bat" "IMAGE.dvd" "game.iso" "ss.bin" ) as shown in figure 4.1 (below)"

does this mean you add the Add DMI.bin file and Add PDI.bin file as well or do you make these DMI and PDI files up with the new Xtreme3?

And it doesn't matter if you only copy and paste from $4000-$4200 aslong as the rest is all FF.

Not always.  Bought a 360 on Friday that wasn't content with copying just $4000-$41FF, had to copy up to $43FF to get it to work.

Got the same issue here. Tried the same as you did, but same error message. Put back the original modded firmware and voila, working again. My dvd = Jan 2006!

Got mine sorted now. Unplugged both my SATA drives so just the 360 was connected to the motherboard instead of leaving the second drive plugged in. Also instead of using ctrl-c and ctrl-v to cut and paste in the hex editor i selected cut and paste from the drop down menus at the top only cutting and pasting lines 4000-4200 into the xtreme 3 firmware.

This works for me everytime:

00004000:01 11 11 11 11 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
00004010:FF FF FF FF FF 02 EE EE EE EE XX XX XX XX XX XX
00004020:XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX FF FF FF FF FF FF until 00004200:

XX being your key.
Manually typed in using HHD editor...its mostly FF anyway so its very little effort.

Xtreme 3 works great at booting backups...but activate.iso gets me to xp and can see the drive..eject, insert original and shows D:xbox360 dvdrom. I can extract ss.bin but when I send FF 08 01 01 to unlock game data dvdinfopro gives error end of data?

and isobuster see the unlocked data.

I'm going back the old way. flashing 0800 to drive.

Same thing happens to me.  It looks like it's the four SS CDB commands that switch the drive to "unlock game data" mode.  The FF 08 01 01 command gives me an error and if I eject and reinsert the disc and just try that command it still stays in video mode.

Is anyone now having problems booting backups with this version?  After I flashed and for the first 3 or 4 days, all my backups played perfect.  Now, my xbox has stopped reading them.  It reads all originals fine, but when it tries to load a backup, it whirrs, then stops and fails to read it.

If anyone else is having this problem, please let me know what can be done to resolve it.  Thanks.

You posted above that all your stealth backups were working perfectly?  Is this not true now?  I am also burning my stealth ISO backups with a Lite-On SOHW-1633S, similar to your drive, and when I put into my Xbox 360 drive, it has a whirling, almost scratching sound, and after about 10 seconds, it gives me the "Unrecognized Disc" error.
