Hmm weird. I also have a NEC... maybe that is why. I will goto bestbuy tommrorw and get a 111d.

I may order some verbatims too... i bought 6 @ walmart for $25, 4 of whic are already gone

$16 down the drain.

Yea, twice trying to burn a backed up game, twice just using nero to test my drive, dunno why the crap it was writing to the disc

Alright, well I got the 111d drive ordered and a 10 pack a verbs. Will I have to update the FW on the drive when I get it?

Well, i dont have my drive yet, but that is the Dangerous Brothers 1.23 modded firmware.
