What is Enable0800?  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

Enables features to dump the required security sector of a game.

Can anyone tell me what the Media Stealth firmware is supposed to do?

So it can't be detected in live...

QUOTE(dizztro @ Jul 14 2006, 05:38 PM) *

Just a quick question,

What type of media does Enable0800 need to be burned onto?

Can it be just a regular CD+R? Or would it have to be the DVD+R DL?

Thanks.

Diz

Still DL - unless your God - it will always be dual layer
How can you even fit the games....

Enable0800 - He seems to ref to it as a mode of the firmware to change functions
Dumping of the dvd.iso/SS rip to playing the games..

hi again, i followed garyopa's instructions for using kdx and it worked fine for me, put legit cod2 in: booted it, put backup GRAW in: booted it.

For the backups, it does seem to read it at a slower speed... will this be fixed in later releases or is it just stuck? i dono, not really a noob, just really tired. sorry

Another amazing release from Commodore4eva. He should work on a Media Stealth version anyway, just to protect the people using it on live. Even though this is cool, i bet for days/weeks or however until the hitachi one is people will be asking about the hitachi one  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Great work, fw mods are looking better every day. We really need more tutorials now though.
