samsbak,

I gotta ask ya...

What in the hell is up with you and the sideways imagery?

I thought it was bad having a sideways picture of your cabs posted on your auction, but then you went and made that video, which took the wtf to a whole new level. tongue.gif

Anyway...

Good luck with the selling. I'd love to take that candy off of ya, but alas.. The location and lack of funds prevent it. sad.gif

Does anyone know of any JAMMA adapters for Xbox, so I can hook up an arcade stick to it?

So what I'm planning is a 4-player cocktail cabinet using an xbox, v-digi vga transcoder, 21" Sun Workstation monitor (Sony Trinitron), happ controls, an ipac and a usb adapter. Just a few questions before I build this setup and realize that it won't work the way I want it:

1) Any of the recent Mame ports for xbox support selecting screen orientation on a game-by-game basis?
2) Has anyone tried using one of these Sun monitors? I've heard they can be tough to get to work on a normal PC, so I can only imagine that making it work on an xbox could be difficult to impossible

Great cabs all around, can't wait to post pics of mine =)

I soldered a VGA port on my xbox but my solder points have come loose...does anyone have the good pinout diagram for the AV port on the underside of the xbox mobo?  the actual solder points underneath is what i need to fix.

Thanx in advance cabsters! happy.gif

The white cab is the Pro-Play Home Arcade, an NES arcade cabinet they sold at Toys R Us in 1989 or thereabouts. It was just the wood and controls, you put a television and NES in it yourself. I added more buttons and a modded Xbox and made it my MAME cabinet, but I've since gotten that new one so I put the NES back in the Pro-Play.

I got the Pro-Play for Xmas back in 1989. You can see it running Contra there.

Could you do some REALLLY high quality Scans of your Memory card sticker?...mine was damaged so i removed it and put white sticker there for now...when I made the slot for the dvd-rom I damaged the original sticker.

Thanx if you can do it!
