Hey, can you tell me a bit about your DC candy cab, is it small for an apartment? Is it setup for only DC or can you play the xbox, computer or neogeo arcade games (the carts) on it?

Brian

I actually have this in my office (animation studio laugh.gif ). I have built units that allow me to hook any SCART source into it, so yes I constantly switch between Xbox, PS2 and DC (if I had gotten this cab 6 months later it would have been an Xbox cab love.gif ) I use PS2 controllers because you can use them with any console (with the help of PSX-to-Xbox controller converters). I also have the rumble built into the control panel. I can still plug a Neo Geo MVS into it but only if its a Japanese MVS because the US ones aren't JAMMA!

i hope they will sell vga cables for xbox , cause i don't understand shit regardig soldering and electronics

i just need jpac +xboxconvertor +vgacables.

btw 15 khz is the normal TV standard no?
I remember my Amiga had also 15khz output so you had to use it on a TV style monitor , later on when amiga 4000 arived there where multiscan monitors out that could take signals between 15khz and 31 khz

well tell andy that when you use the video amp the picture looks amazing ...when you dont use it you have to adjust your brightness and contrast to max on your monitor to get a good picture...with the vid amp you can set your contrast\brightness to normal monitor levels...

I have tested both ways and i prefer to AMP to 5Volts RGB over no amp

It was very close (one hours drive) but paid extra because I needed this thing taken up some stairs. . .

I really need to get that RGB cable to boost my cab's signal though, can't wait!

uhh.gif  Which is better? I got mine through Lik Sang, so I guess they're Japanese. I thought that they were both the same.
