I thought that the buttons felt cheap on the pelican arcade stick. . . it has a nice case/box however. If I were you I would spend the extra $30 on a set of real arcade buttons and sticks (and put them inside the pelican).

QUOTE (bdisagree @ Sep 6 2004, 12:45 AM)
Uhh, most of the people creating arcade machines, probably 95% put them in their basements, and if you're talking about making money off your friends, then you obviously don't deserve any and probably don't have any anyway.

I finally got my cabinet started over the weekend. We got all the main pieces cut out, and this weekend will try and get it mostly put together.

I have never worked with MDF before, and found very soon after starting that my camera was going nowhere near the work area. MDF is some nasty nasty stuff, but the dust has now surely settled, so I will take some pictures of last weeks work before starting this weeks.

Well since this thread seems to be going strong, why not add my little candy cab. It's not a coverted cab or an xbox emu cab (although it could be done). This one is a dedicated Neo-Geo MVS cabinet.

Here's a front shot of my Neo25 Candy Cab

Here's a shot of it in the dark showing off the lighted marquee.

I recently purchased a Unibios2.0 chip for the mobo. Heres a shot of the cab running it (nothing new but it was cool as hell to me)

Finally here is a shot of my MVS collection (with a few of my AES carts at the bottom).

Those boxes that hold my cart are called "Shock Boxes" and I designed the majority of the inserts for them. Thats pretty much what ive been doing lately.
