This package makes a bootable USB key including all the files needed to backup, flash and recover your Samsung Xbox360 Firmware, all in one simple automatic process!

1.1 Revision: Apparently the patch tool was not fully compatible with all version's of DOS. New version has been tested fully for compatibility.

Why post if you can't even link to the site?  If its illegal to post it doesn't seem like it should be talked about

Um, I think because it's Xbox-related news? XBMC updates are posted here, and its not like they have a legal download link included.

Link to what site? There is no official site.

If you are referring to downloads, well, about 80% of the release based news posted on this site over the past 4 years has been not availible for download due to varios reasons, whether it was built with the XDK, contains copyrighted code, or 'may' breech DMCA stipulations.

Either way, the owner of the site decides what is posted or not. Not you. Sorry you cant find it, maybe looking at the 'xbins' tutorial in the 'other' section might help you.

It seems to be a corrupt archive at the moment in the 'usual spot'.

There never has, nor will there ever be, a 'corrupt' file on the spot you speak of. Check yourself.

The file is there at xbins... downloads fine just when opening with winzip im getting the winzip error 'Cannot open file. it does not appear to be a valid archive' shit.
Downloaded it three times now and still the same. Maybe its just me but i grab everything in the XBOX360 directory again just to be sure and everything else is fine except the auto flasher 1.1. ??

Edit: Extracts with WinRar fine!! Still not go with WinZip

Is that the only difference? It still can't get it to reconize my Sammy and I even switched the MTKFLASH to 1.83c which has a switch /SATA. I love the fact that someone made a bootable flash tool for pen drives but what I think everyone really wants is modified MTKFLASH that has all SATA chipsets. My chipset is in the MTKFLASH hex , although I have to look more into editing it becuase doesnt match my Msinfo going  from the tutorials. Either way still trying. LOL

Does the 360 drive have to be the only sata device connected when using this? , or does it give the option on which sata to flash to?. As the readme does not say , and the tutorials don't cover this auto flasher.

As I have two sata hdd's so the 360 drive would have to go on the 3rd or 4th sata port.

I remove everything when I am trying, all the IDE's as well. Its booting to the USB so I would imagine the least amount of drives the better to detect the right one. I have yet to get any method to work to detect, but I plan on trying the F001 7001 method since MTKFLASH has my crap in it, but not to night it's late and I have been drinking. Three things I have learned in my life. Don't Drink and play with guns, Don't Drink and play with Hot Herps ( Venomous Reptiles ) and Dont Drink and mod your Electronics. Words for the Younger Generation , but I never said not to Drink.

Although i havent got any other sata devices connected  the program still gave me the option of which sata port to flash (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

First attempt with this went a bit wierd, it went thru stage 1 then said something about a dos error then it froze on stage 3 i think, although im sure it said reboot pc before that and i didnt and pressed a key to continue :0 so prob my own fault, anyway i thought as its extracted and backed up my firmware in step 1 i may as well reboot and just apply extreme firmware option, worked a treat back ups are playing 100%
