I found this while I was looking for a replacement dvd drive...

it's a XBOX 1 drive... not a 360 drive...

how can you be so sure?

yes the picture is of a xbox 1 THOMPSON (so is the pic of the other 2 360 drives), but it says xbox 360 replacement drive.

did you buy one of these?

Holy crap I was right this does seem to be a 360 drive.

I don't think its "new" though as others have said. The T/S drives that etech sells seem to be from dev/beta/prototype etc. kits and have black trays instead of a gray ones. My theory is that these are also from prototype 360s just took awhile for some1 to notice them.

I noticed that in the "A Look Inside Xbox 360" and "TheColony" videos that there's a clip of one guy "poking around" in a protoype 360 and the dvd-rom in it looks very similar.
