I modded my Hitachi the other day, played my first backup fine for a few hours. Then today I switched on my 360 again to continue playing and I get the disc unreadable message. What's changed between then and now?! This method does nothing for me. Anyone else?

hi,
i'm new and a little frustrated! I bought an new xbox360 with an flashed hitachi drive, but my backups don't work. (i don't kno which xtreme firmware i have on it)

this method didn't work, when closing the tray, there was no disc spinning.

can anyone explain the others methods to me, please? Thx!

Is this technique for booting games on a flashed 360 if just putting them in normally dosn't work?

Hey!!

This technique works for me and my Hitachi 0079FK flashed with iextreme 1.4.

I'm just wondering whether I really should need to use this trick.

Shouldn't the flashed 0079FK drive be able to simply recognize the backup discs right off the bat?

Are there other people with iXtreme 1.4 0079FKs out there who have to use this?

hi,

this trick worked for me at first but wont any more, however I was using a wired controller to begin with and now have a wireless without plug and charge kit. I havent had chance to try the wired controller again.

ive been reading all of this thread and keep on hearing people refer to the hd trick and av switch trick but dont know what they are. I've searched around but cant find any info. Can anyone help?

If you have the latest iXtreme 1.4 you shouldn't have to do this. This is for the old Hiatchi firmwares.

Ya, try out 12x.

And as for the AV thing, I know you have to switch between HD and normal TV for the 360 to stay on and read the games, I saw a thread on it a long time ago...I don't remember.
