You can also use the TV cable trick - switch the TV cable to the mode you don't use, boot up with the game in, wait a few seconds and switch to the mode you do use. Of course if you only have a standard AV cable on a Core this won't work. I wonder if unplugging it and plugging it back in would have the same effect?

blink.gif  so in order to get backups working (for some people) you have to do this HD trick every time?? damn that sucks... so glad I have a sammy.... tongue.gif

i have
hitachi-LG   
DVDRom Vertion:  47DH  

but does this firmware saport this vertion 47DH or will there be a l8r release.
didn't whant to flash till i was sure thanks.

Yes, there is a firmware that supports your drive.  That was the first Hitachi that was supported.  You really should read a bit more.  But yes.
