Dvd Hack Through A Laptop...

If your laptops has SATA (which is pretty rare), then sure...maybe. There's also a couple notebook SATA adapters out there, you may want to look into that. Someone linked to one for sale a week or so ago on this forum, do a search.

well first you might be able to flash you drive trough a pc sata card that slots into your laptop just make sure it has a silicone image chipset or via i think and it might workand for power you could buy an old computer power supply or a second pc card that has molex outputs(if they exist not sure).

and to back up get an old ide dvd drive and get an ide to usb adapter and backthem up the wxripper way.

so if i am right then you can do all this on your laptop.

good luck

It should work, just stay away from the SIL chipsets.   They just don't work!!

Gonna be difficult also.  You will need a custom bootdisk to make sure pcmcia is working.

You may plug in the card, but dos will not detect it.  mtkflash won't work.  You will need to find a way to get the card working in dos.  good luck.

i thought pcmia was generic and has generic drivers so it might work in dos or like you said custome drivers which should be easy to get.

the molex card is needed because with the sata card all you are doing is a data connection you also need to power you card ( oh shit sorry just remembered that you can power your drive from 360 sorry so all you should need is the sata card and you can get them from Here

hope it all works out for you dude if it doesnt be shure to ask because i might be able to help and i have alot of spare time    i can guide you through it on msn messanger if you like (like i said i have alot of spare time)
