im gunna ask this because i have to... so dont take offense to it

take a picture of the top of your dvd drive so we can see the make and model

are you working with the right dvd drive type ?

and how new is this console meaning whats the manufacturing date ?

anyone think maybe possibly a hidden dashboard update that is locking the dvd firmware into place or has changed the way it has to be unlocked or flashed it with an unlockable firmware..?  just a thought.
i did have an update when i played PGR3 the other day but i dont know what it was.. maybe the cadillac update ?

and what OS are you running ?

after full boot, Plugged in Sata cable then Power cable and pressed eject

Note: Dvdinfo pro still gives me that error but it dose show up

Edit:

Well Ive been working on this all day, night and morning, I'm so happy i got it working, no sleep for me

I replied in your XBH thread, I'll copy and paste it in here too.

Also, this is how I have my drive connected.

Running Windows Media Center Edition 2005 (Basically XP Pro SP2 with a Media Center)

I have the drive powered by the Xbox 360 through the 12-pin cable, and the SATA is hooked up to the computer.  Both my Xbox 360 and computer are off.  I power on my computer only.  It doesn't see anything, because the DVD drive technically isn't there (no power).  I wait until Windows and all startup programs are completely loaded.  I have SATA/RAID drivers for my motherboard already installed.  I hit eject on my Xbox 360, the DVD drive ejects and my computer gives me a message that says Drive Connected!  I look in My Computer and it shows up as a DVD-ROM drive.  I put in the game.  It never locks up if I do it that way.

As for the "No Sense" error,

QUOTE
Grim, I have received the "No Sense" error everytime I have sent that command.  ISOBuster sees no file system, so I know the drive is unlocked correctly.  All of my backups have played perfectly, haven't made a single coaster yet.  Now, here's something interesting:  if I open up DVDInfoPro and skip the ss extraction and just send the unlock signal, I will still get the "No Sense" error.  But, the drive doesn't unlock.  I open up ISOBuster and I see the Audio and Video folders.  This is also interesting:  If I extract the ss from the disc using the four commands, the drive is unlocked.  If I completely skip the "unlock" command, all I'm doing is saving myself some time, because the drive is already unlocked after extracting the SS.

So...maybe the "unlock" command isn't even necessary at all.  Just extract your ss and then open up ISOBuster.

I got the same no sense error and did a bit of searching dry.gif , I found that it works if you just enter in the cdb commands to get the security sectors, it unlocks it. Works for me. Explored it and I burned it fine though on my XBOX 360 it hangs at reading. Is it the media?
