I have another thread discussing my problems with these fuji/ritek discs.  Apparently they work for some but like the poster above me, they will not boot at all on my TS-H943 (fw=ms25).  Just got back from Bestbuy and did an exchange for some Verbatim and first backup booted fine.  The backups I made with the Fuji discs all gave me the "open tray" indicator at the bottom of the dashboard.  This is on a Sony DRU-820a burner.

oh - very good point - i think that could be it - i have  a samsung FW ms=25 too

did u return it for the 20 pack for 59.99 $ ? wink.gif

You guys.. when you're performing this 360 hack, there are several factors to whether the disc loads or not. The security sector can be wrong, your disc may have not dumped right, cheap media, bad burn, bad patching, etc. You can't just immediately jump to the conclusion that the discs don't work unless you've tried the EXACT image file on a different type of media. Even then, there are very minor factors that could effect it (burner not being compatible with the disc for whatever reason).

Always check the media id block with dvd identifier. The label on the outside of the cakebox doesn't mean much. For example, one year ago Fuji single layer +r could be had on sale for cheap. It was made in Japan, and it was TY. Now the only Fuji I find says made in Taiwan and I will not be testing any of these. So its down to either Sony (still using TY) or Verbatim (MCC of course) Back on topic...most good stores will let you return the unused dl's if they didn't work for you. Simple as that...

So i did return the Fuji's and bought some Verbatim and they work fine - i think it's simply that my Samsung 360 drive FW=MS25 doen't like them

Like stated before i managed to get one burned backup running (after shutting down for 2 min) but only till the Memory Card Screen...

Now with the Verbatims alle 4 backups work perfectly without any problems....

I think it's the FW=MS 25 if those Fuji's work on other people's 360 drive....

My burner burns everything - it's a Plextor 716A....

And i always return the DVD's if they don't work to the stores and i always got my money back - even today when brought back the Fuji's and i already coasted 8 of them trying all kind of variations - but of course no emplyee checks the backside of the disc...... dry.gif    biggrin.gif

yeah i can say that i wont be using the fugi disc anymore either. i got a 15 pack also and the 1st 2 i burn didnt boot at all (open tray displayed while disc inserted) then i got one to boot after inserting it over and over agin and on the 3rd insert it finally booted. i have 18 back-ups working flawlessly on HP DVD+R DL Gold Label and all were burn with a lite-on SOHW-1693s burner.
