Yeah, you didn't use xtreme_proper.bin. That's why you're getting the error about putting the originals into an Xbox 360 console. It means the DVD-Rom key isn't valid. Try extracting it from your orig.bin and putting it into the xtreme_proper.bin.

There's an xtreme_proper.ppf out there with ppfomatic.exe included. Just merge the file with your current xtreme.bin. Then it'll be proper.

I had the error but it was due to the drive key not being the correct one for my 360 since I swapped drives. I just uploaded the orig.bin from the old drive with iprep which patched it with the new iextreme firmware and uploaded it to the new drive.


I dont know why you would be getting that besides the fact that you uploaded your orig.bin and it didnt add the drive key to your firmware.


try iprep as it does it all for you with the idump xxxxxxx xxxxx  (xbox serial number on bottom)

Can some one please help me with hex editing mtkflash for my 6421 card? I have no idea how to go about doing it, or is there an easier way now?

Use iPrep.  It will hex edit for you and also make your bootable disk for flashing.

samsung cannot be flash with laptop and pcmcia card (dos/sata problem)
