Apparently the Hitachi firmware is delayed indefinitely because of an "x:2689.0" error on a few xbox 1 games...

True. Who gives a shit abaut xbox1 on 360.

If people want xbox1 games then they can buy a xbox1 its not so expoensive these days
(here in sweden we can get a xbox1 system for 133USD and maybe cheaper

i am also waiting for the hitachi hack like many others
but i think that it will be delayd for atleast 2 more week.
MS is going to have a 360 update by the end of the month and probebly many people will update their 360 with the new update.

and that makes me happy that the hitachi firmware is not out yet.
i am waiting for those that have patched their toshiba drives to test if the 360 update will have any affect on the hack relleased for the toshiba drive.

i think the guys behind the hitachi firmware are wainting to for the 360 update to be relleased by MS to see what they will do to stop the hack and if they are going to do anything att all.
then they will be able to se how the update works and make the firmware for the hitachi better.

i also have 2 questions

1 Has anyone tried using xbox live after using the new toshiba firmware? (does it work)

2 And have they tried playing with game backups on xbox live? (does it work)

i want to be able to update my 360 through xbox live to get the latest things to work with my 360 like games updates and so on.

it´s great for those that have patched their drives and now can backupo their expensive games

and those 99% that are going to use the firmware hack for piracy.

all i really wanted to say is, the longer they wait before relleasing the hitachi firmware the better will they know what to do to make it better then the toshiba one.

they should atleast wait to the end of this month and rellease it i june

They could have at least released that and given people the choice, that is of course, if it really does exist.

I have only ever ran one Xbox1 game on my 360, and that was just a one time thing which I did out of curiosity, I for one would be happy to sacrifice that particular novelty to be able to play 360 backups for now, you could always upgrade the fw later on anyway if that issue was patched.

Just another disappointment.

I am usually quite a happy person though, you should see me when I'm out on the piss, I've just been a little negative in general on here recently since all this business is really starting to wind me up.

This thing will come out eventually, but chances are I'll have grandkids by then, and my 360 would have been confined to the back of my closet or somewhere.

It probably is the case to be honest with you, TheSpecialist could never get xb1 discs working in the Hitatchi either, and Scener said something about this earlier in the week on Foros.

I could care less also for xbox games. So if its true, why not release it? (U get the fame for that anyway) and other people may look into it for getting xbox games booting.

Exactly, it's like with the PSP when that Spanish group released the 1.50 swaploit one week, and then the exploit a week later, it wouldn't do any harm at all to put this out there if it's relatively simple to flash.

Mmhh isnt this a normal error for games that are now not supported:
